FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Soccer freshman Mia Johnson (Mission Viejo, CA) was selected to the All-MIAA Second Team, voted on by league coaches.
 
Johnson led Saint Mary's in almost every offensive category in the 2025 season. She led the team in goals (12), points (26), shots (62), shots on goal (25), and game-winning goals (4). She was also one of just four Belles to start all 16 games for the team while playing 1,120 minutes on the season. 
 
Her 12 goals are the most in a season for a Belle since 2018 while her 26 points are the most since 2019. She tallied two hat-tricks on the season, against Concordia University Chicago and Earlham College, becoming the first Belle since 1997 to record multiple hat-tricks in a single season. Johnson is just the 11th player in program history to record at least 12 goals in a season while becoming the 13th player to tally at least 26 points in a season. 
 
Johnson's 62 shots ranks her third all-time at Saint Mary's for shots in a season while she tied the program record for game-winning goals in a season with four. After just one season at Saint Mary's, she ranks tied for fourth all-time in game-winning goals. 
 
In the MIAA, Johnson tallied the third most shots and fourth most shots on goal in the conference. She led the conference in goals scored and points in the regular season. She also ranked tied for first in the MIAA in game-winning goals.
 
Nationally, Johnson ranked 46th in goals scored and 47th in points. She also finished the season 47th in shots and 50th in shots on goal. She ranked 34th nationally in game-winning goals.
 
Johnson and the Belles finished the season with an 8-5-3 overall record and a 2-5-1 MIAA record. Saint Mary's started the season with an eight-game unbeaten streak that saw them with a 6-0-2 record. In that stretch, the Belles outscored their opponents 22-3.
