BRIGHTON, Mich. - Saint Mary's College had a record 82 student-athletes named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Honor Roll the league announced on Wednesday. The 82 Belles were a part of a record breaking 2,079 student-athletes across the nine schools to earn the honor. This is the first time that over 2,000 student-athletes have earned the distinction.
 
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the academic year and earn a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport.
 
All eight of Saint Mary's MIAA-sponsored athletic programs were represented on the list. Of the 82 student-athletes, 43 of them are multiple time honorees.
