HAMMOND, Ind. - Saint Mary's College STUNT fell to Purdue University Northwest on Saturday, 24-6, in their first road game of the season. The Belles fall to 4-5 on the year while the Pride improved to 5-4.
Purdue Northwest got out to a hot start early in the game, taking a strong 5-1 lead heading into the second quarter. Neither team had a strong pyramids and tosses quarter, as the Pride took two points to the Belles one to head into halftime with a 7-2 lead.
Purdue Northwest came out strong in the third quarter, taking five more points from Saint Mary's. The Belles took one to head into the final quarter, trailing 12-3. The Pride never took their foot off the gas, taking multiple points in all three rounds. Purdue Northwest would outscore Saint Mary's, 12-3, in the quarter to close out their 24-6 win.

Saint Mary's returns to the mats on March 7 as they travel to New Concord, OH to compete in the Muskingum Tournament as they take on hosts Muskingum University and Malone University. The Belles then head out west to compete in the Pacific Northwest Invitational on March 13-14 in Newburg, OR.
