NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Saint Mary's College STUNT earned two wins to find themselves in the National Semi Final game tomorrow, defeating Maryville College 13-2 and Misericordia University 10-5. The Belles improved to 13-13 on the season
 
Saint Mary's vs Maryville
Saint Mary's got out to a hot start in the morning matchup with Maryville. The Belles took the first round of the first quarter easily before the teams split points in round two, giving the Belles a 2-1 lead after one quarter. They then came out and swept the pyramids and tosses quarter to give themselves a 4-1 lead heading into halftime of the eight-round game.
 
The Belles stayed hot coming out of halftime. They won both rounds of the jumps and tumbling quarter, round one within two deductions, to go into the final quarter with a 7-2 lead. Saint Mary's continued their domination into the fourth quarter as they would take wins in both rounds while sweeping the Scots 6-0 in the quarter to claim their 13-2 win and advance to the next round.
 
Saint Mary's vs Misericorida
After a lengthy break, Saint Mary's picked up right where they left off. The Belles took a win in round one after calling for routine seven and earning the win in the round. They then took a win in round two, within two deductions on routine one to take an early 3-1 lead. After no points were scored in round one of quarter two, the Belles took round two quickly to head into halftime of the eight-round game with a 4-1 lead.
 
The two teams would split a point each in the first round of quarter three on routine six. After forcing a forfeit from the Cougars on routine seven, the Belles couldn't convert the point. This sent the Belles into the final two rounds with a 5-2 lead. After the Cougars would call for routine one to kick off the fourth quarter, the Belles took care of business. Both teams earned points in each part of the first round while the Belles won the first two within two deductions to outscore their opponent 5-3. Saint Mary's then called for routine eight, forcing Misericordia to forfeit the round, and claimed their 10-5 victory.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES
Saint Mary's will have a rematch with George Fox University in the double elimination semi-finals matchup. The Belles and Bruins will take the mats at 10am EST on Sunday, April 26. The winner of that match will face off with Muskingum University in the National Championship final.
