Saint Mary's College

Emma Zmudzinski joins the Saint Mary’s Lacrosse program as the Head Assistant Coach in August 2026. Zmudzinski spent the 2026 season as an Assistant Coach after a four-year spell playing for the Belles.
 
In goal, Zmudzinski is one of the most decorated goalkeepers in program history. Over her four-year career, she played in 57 games while playing in almost 2,700 minutes and making 397 saves. Her 397 saves rank her second all-time in program history while she recorded the third most goalie wins in a season with 11 in 2023. She also tallied the third most saves in a game in team history with 17 at Indiana Tech during her senior season.
 
While attending Saint Mary’s, Emma was a member of Smick Cycle while also leading the schools Morgan’s Message chapter to help spread awareness for student-athlete mental health. At the end of her senior year, she was presented with the Donald Miller Belles Spirit Award, presented to a senior student-athlete who best exemplifies the winning spirit of the college’s athletic program.
 
As the Head Assistant Coach, Zmudzinski will continue working as a goalie coach and will head the programs recruiting department.
