LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Saint Mary's College Cross Country competed in the Louisville Classic at Tom Sawyer State Park on Saturday. In the Women's 6k Blue Race, the Belles would place 40th among a plethora of NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA opponents.
Junior
Savannah Paulson (Carmel, IN) would lead the Belles with a time of 24:26.1. Junior
Cecilia Conrad (Norton Shores, MI) would follow close behind Paulson with a time of 24:43.9. Junior
Jordan Siminski (Crown Point, IN) finished just seconds behind Conrad, finishing with a final time of 24:48.9.
Senior
Isabelle Auch (Montague, MI) led the next group of Belles with a time of 25:26.7. Senior
Mary Weber (Naperville, IL) finished just behind her fellow classmate with a time of 25:32.1. Freshman
Mary Caroline George (Louisville, KY) followed the two seniors with a time of 25:49 in her home race.
Freshmen
Jackie Clemente (Richmond, IN) and
Sarah Couri (Germantown Hills, IL) would follow each other as Clemente finished with a time of 26:14.8 and Couri with a time of 26:20.6.
The Belles would also compete in the Women's 5k Silver race, freshman
Megan McClain (Chicago, IL) led Saint Mary's in the race, finishing with a time of 21:58.2. Junior
Anna Scannell (Cedar Falls, IA) and freshman
Greta Duke (Shelbyville, IL) also took part in the 5k race. Scannell finished with a time of 22:08.5 while Duke finished with a time of 23:09.5.

Saint Mary's is back in action on October 18 as they head to Oberlin, OH to compete in the Oberlin Inter Regional Rumble.
