ALMA, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Golf concluded their fall season at the final MIAA Jamboree in Alma, Michigan on Saturday, shooting a 313 as a team and finishing T2. All six Belles finished inside the Top 25 in the final outing of the fall.
Sophomore Melanie Maier (Richmond, TX) led the Belles with a T2 finish individually after shooting a three-over 74. Maier finished the back-nine with a clean card along with a birdie on the par-three 13th hole for a one-under 35, going 39-35 on the day.
Senior Julia Lizak (Riverview, MI) followed closely behind Maier with a 78 (+7) and a T10 finish. Lizak birdied the par-four fifth hole to conclude her round and go 39-39 on the day. Junior Colleen Hand (Royal Oak, MI) finished just behind Lizak with a 79Â (+8) and a T13 finish. Hand birdied the par-four eighth hole to shoot 39-40 on the afternoon.
Seniors Breana Harrington (Pinellas Park, FL) and Amanda Melling (East Lansing, MI) would finish back-to-back as Harrington took home a 22nd place finish while Melling finished T23. Harrington shot an 82 (+11) in her final collegiate outing while Melling finished with an 83 (+12).
Freshman Katharine Swain (South Bend, IN) rounded out the competitors for the Belles with a T25 finish after shooting an 84 (+13) as an individual.

Saint Mary's now prepares for the spring season which will include multiple tournaments along with a spring break trip and feature the MIAA Championship on April 24-25 at Legacy by Arthur Hills.
