NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Volleyball defeated Beloit College in a daytime non-conference matchup on Sunday, 3-0. The Belles improve to 8-9, while the Bucs fall to 1-13 on the season.
The Belles came out victorious in the first set, 25-15, behind a .308 hitting percentage as a team. The team finished with 16 kills in the set, three Belles recorded four kills. Freshman Giuliana Graczyk finished the set with seven assists while sophomore Abby Reese had six.
The Bucs looked to make a second set comeback, but the Belles kept momentum and came out on top, 25-19. Four Belles had five or more kills while Graczyk brought her assist total to 16.
Saint Mary's dominated in third set play to finish the match, 25-11. Graczyk led the match with a season high 22 assists while sophomore Caroline Carens led the match on kills with 13. Graczyk also led the match with 10 digs

Saint Mary's stay's home to take on conference opponent, Trine University on Wednesday night, October 9, in the Dig Pink Game. The Belles then finish out the home stretch and take on Calvin University, Tuesday October 15, at 7PM in the annual Red Glasses Game.
