Two more shots on goal by the Belles were followed by a pair of attempts off the mark as Saint Mary's continued to be the aggressors on offense. The Foresters, however, were able to capitalize on their second shot on goal of the day to take a 1-0 lead with less than eight minutes remaining before halftime.
Saint Mary's, however, did not take long to equalize in the second period.
