DIMONDALE, Mich. - The Saint Mary's volleyball team picked up a 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-23) win over Allegheny before falling in a 3-2 (27-25, 25-23, 18-25, 22-25, 17-15) nailbiter against Oberlin on day two of the MIAA/NCAA Challenge at Aim High Sports.
In the five-set contest against Oberlin, Lukens shared match-high honors with 20 kills while leading all players with 26 digs. Collantes recorded 11 kills and 23 digs, and Tarkanyi posted 20 digs. Chong had 10 kills with a .429 attack percentage. VanderWey added 32 assists and 14 digs while
Claire Hennessy had 19 assists.
