LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Saint Mary's volleyball team bounced back from a 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-19) setback against Loras to take a 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23) win over Illinois Tech at day two of the Lake Forest Forester Invitational on Saturday.
Lukens added her second double-double in as many matches on the day in the team's victory over Illinois Tech as the senior had 13 kills and 12 digs.
Alyssa Chong put down nine kills with a .368 attack percentage and four block assists, and
Nola Wallace contributed four block assists and seven kills against the Scarlet Hawks.
Morgan VanderWey and
Claire Hennessy each recorded a double-double as VanderWey tallied 20 assists and 14 digs while Hennessy posted 17 assists and 11 digs.
Megan Collantes put up 26 digs, and
Brittney Tarkanyi added 21 digs for the Belles.
