NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's lacrosse team registered their second shutout of the season with a 24-0 conference win over Olivet on Tuesday evening.
The Belles built a 10-0 lead through the opening 11:12 of play as six different players (

Shannon McCloskey,
Kate Kelly,
Rachael Leonard,
Gabby Belsito) had a goal over that opening span. Holding a 13-0 advantage,
Molly Stout,
Erin Doyle,
Sarah Frick,
Rachel Ledyard, and
Andie Srdoc each scored once over the final ten minutes of the half to put the home side up 18-0 at halftime. For Frick and Srdoc, it was the first goal of each of their collegiate careers. The Belles went on to add six goals over the final 30 minutes of action for the 24-0 win.
Saint Mary's out-shot Olivet by a 33-3 margin in the game. The Belles picked up 32 ground balls to the Comets' 20, and Saint Mary's collected 19 draw controls to Olivet's seven in the contest. Thirteen of the team's 24 goals were assisted, marking a new program record for assists in a single game. Additionally, it is the third shutout in program history.
Erin Doyle moved into the top slot in career goals for the Belles as the sophomore posted seven goals on the night. She added five assists, five ground balls, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
Kate Kelly posted five goals, three assists, 10 draw controls, four ground balls, and four caused turnovers.
Kendra Osinski tallied two goals, two assists, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
The Belles (6-4, 2-0 MIAA) travel to Trine on Saturday for a 4:00 p.m. conference contest against the Thunder.
