NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Saint Mary's volleyball team bounced back from a 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 27-25, 25-19) loss against Nebraska Wesleyan by sweeping host North Central 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-12) at the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
Against the host Cardinals, Collantes was nearly unstoppable as she led all players with 16 kills while posting a .500 attack percentage. Lukens added another double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs while Tarkanyi led all players with 16 digs. VanderWey narrowly missed out on a kills-assists double-double with nine kills and 30 assists while hitting .643 to go along with three service aces. Pelletier added five kills on ten attempts as the Belles tallied an impressive .371 attack percentage.
Saint Mary's (9-12) returns to conference play on Tuesday, October 22 when they host Hope at 7:00 p.m.
