CLERMONT, Fla. - An eleven-run output was more than enough offense for the Saint Mary's softball team in an 11-5 win over Ohio Wesleyan. A late rally in game two was stopped short in a 7-4 final against Wittenberg.

The Belles went up 5-0 after one complete and never looked back against the Battling Bishops. Angela Dainelli and Caitlyn Migawa each went 3-for-4 while Sarah Callis, Jamie Young, Cassie Young, and Kayla Chapman each tallied two hits in the win. Cassie Young, Jamie Young, and Jillian Busfield each scored two runs for Saint Mary's. Cassie Young, Jillian Busfield, and Angela Dainelli drove in two runs each, and Migawa had a team-high three RBIs.

Mary Green earned the pitching win after going four complete and allowing three earned runs. Morgan Raymer closed out the final three innings and struck out three while walking none.

In game two, the Belles struck first with a run in the top of the first, but Wittenberg quickly turned the tables with a two-run home run in the bottom of the inning. The Tigers added three runs in the fifth and two in the sixth for a 7-1 lead going into the final inning. The Belles pushed three runs across in the top of the seventh inning but fell short in a 7-4 final against Wittenberg. Sarah Callis, Cassie Young, and Jillian Busfield each went 2-for-4. Young and Busfield each drove in a pair of runs for the Belles. Sarah Burke shouldered the loss in the circle after going all seven innings and surrendering five earned runs while striking out five.

The Belles (3-1) have a short night of rest before they take on Lancaster Bible at 9:00 a.m. and Misericordia at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
