Jade Bohlen was named Athletic Trainer for the Department of Athletics in August 2026.
Bohlen joins the department after completing her Masters of Science in Athletic Training at Purdue University in 2026. As part of her graduate education, she completed immersive clinical experiences with the University of Notre Dame, working with the Football program during the 2025 season and the Track and Field program during the 2026 season.
Prior to pursuing her master's degree, Bohlen spent two seasons with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Football program as an athletic training aide from 2022-2024. During her time with Illinois, she also had the opportunity to work for the 2023 RealiQuest Bowl in Tampa, Fla., where Illinois faced Mississippi State.
A native of Champaign, Ill., Bohlen earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024 before earning her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Purdue University in 2026.
