FREELAND, Mich. - Erin Doyle was tabbed as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, March 9.
Doyle, a junior from Niskayuna, New York, amassed 12 goals, nine assists, and 13 draw controls as the Belles went 2-0 on the week. She matched her school record of 12 points and had a game-high six ground balls in a 20-10 win over Aquinas. The junior then became the Saint Mary's all-time leader in points in a career with a nine-point effort - including a school record-tying five assists - in a 17-12 comeback win over Southwestern.
It is the first MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season for Doyle while it is the fifth such recognition of her career.
