Jillian Humphrey

Jillian Humphrey, was named the Head Coach of the Saint Mary's STUNT program in 2023, moves into her second season at the helm of the Belles.

Humphrey joined Saint Mary's as the first coach in program history. Humphrey comes to the Belles from Central Michigan University, where she most recently served as the assistant cheerleading coach. Additionally, Humphrey competed on and helped influence the first STUNT team and was a member of the Central Michigan University cheerleading team. The Chippewas cheer team attended the National Cheerleaders Association nationals in 2023 during her time as an assistant coach.  

In her first season with the Belles (2025), Humphrey led the team to a 10-9 overall record and a 5-0 Mid-America Central Conference record en route to a 2025 Nationals appearance. Humphrey would help lead the team to the programs first victory in their inaugural competition with an 8-4 victory over Concordia Chicago. She would also coach four All-Amercians as senior Lydia Alexander and sophomore Erin Monnier were named First Team while freshmen Bella Arreola and Olivia Parker were named Honorable Mention. Alexander would also earn All-Tournament Team honors at Nationals.

Humphrey has also gained valuable coaching experience through Champion Cheerleading as a camp staff member during the summers from 2018 through 2022. She was then promoted to director of the camp in 2023. In those two roles, she managed middle school and high school teams during several weeks of camp each summer as those athletes developed their skills and knowledge of cheerleading.

Humphrey completed her bachelor of science degree in psychology from Central Michigan University in May 2023.
