MARSHALL, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Golf took home a 5th place finish at the first MIAA Jamboree of the fall season.

Freshman Stella Bernhardt (Ada. MI) led the way for the Belles in her first collegiate tournament, finishing T7 after shooting an eight-over 80. Bernhardt tallied three birdies to lead the Belles including a two on the par three 11th hole, her first of her collegiate career. She would also add a birdie on the par four third and the par four 10th hole to close out her afternoon.

Junior Ella Notaro (Crystal Lake, IL) followed with a T18 finish after carding an 83 (+11) on the day. Notaro would also birdie the par four 10th hole. Freshman Peyton Kauzlick (Noblesville, IN) finished close behind Notaro with an 84 (+12) and a T20 finish. Kauzlick would tally a birdie of her own on the par three eighth hole.

Senior Colleen Hand (Royal Oak, MI) rounded out the scorers for the Belles as she finished in 34th place with an 86 (+14). Junior KJ Walters (Kalamazoo, MI) followed behind Hand as the final competitor for the Belles, finishing in 55th place while carding a 100 (+28). Walters would add a birdie on the par four fourth hole.

Individually, sophomore Nina Notaro (Crystal Lake, MI) tallied a collegiate career low round as she finished T20 with an 84 (+12). Notaro would also add a birdie on the par three eighth hole.

Saint Mary's will take a trip to Normal, IL this upcoming weekend for a two-day event at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic at Ironwood Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.
