HOLLAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Tennis fell to Hope College, 5-2, on the final day of the regular season. The Belles fall to 17-7 (6-2 MIAA) while the Flying Dutch improve to 14-7 (8-0 MIAA).

Hope got out to a hot start as they took all three doubles matches to claim the point. Saint Mary's battled in all three matches while forcing the number one match into a tiebreaker point.

Singles
The Flying Dutch continued their strong day with four straight singles victories to claim the match win. The Belles finished out the day strong as sophomore
Shannon Dudy (Glenview, IL) took home a comeback win at the number three match, 1-6 6-4 1-0. Senior
Evelyn Demblans-Dechans (Missoula, MT) closed out the regular season with a win at the number five singles match, 6-2 4-6 1-0.

Saint Mary's kicks off postseason play on Tuesday, April 28. The three seeded Belles will play host to six seeded Adrian College for a 4pm matchup.
