A sophomore on the tennis team from Morris, Illinois, Megan went 4-0 in doubles and singles play last week as the Belles clinched a spot in the top-four MIAA Tournament. She had an 8-2 one doubles win at Alma and an 8-3 victory at the same flight against Albion. She went on to win both of her two singles matches by 6-1, 6-0 scores.
A senior on the golf team from Traverse City, Michigan, Taylor led all players with a five-over par 77 to earn medalist honors at the second MIAA NCAA Automatic Qualifying round. She posted the best par three scoring and par four scoring while also turning in 10 pars. Additionally, Taylor had two birdies to lead the team and was named MIAA Golfer of the Week.
A junior on the softball team from South Bend, Indiana, Kelsey had a .524 batting average last week as the Belles secured a spot in the top-four MIAA Tournament. She had a team-high seven runs to go along with an RBI and a .583 on-base percentage. Kelsey registered a hit in each of the team's six games and had multiple hits in three contests.
A senior on the lacrosse team from Orland Park, Illinois, Kate had eight goals, four assists, six caused turnovers, 13 ground balls, and 17 draw controls in two wins last week as the lacrosse team captured their first MIAA regular season championship. Against Albion, she led all players with six goals and seven total points while pulling down 11 draw controls. She was named MIAA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.
The Saint Mary's lacrosse team won their first-ever MIAA Championship with an 8-0 record in conference play this spring. The team has set new program records for goals (287), assists (119), points (405), and ground balls (551) so far this season.
