CHARLOTTE, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Cross Country took home a fifth place finish at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships in Charlotte, MI on Saturday afternoon.

Juniors
Jordan Siminski (Crown Point, IN) and
Savannah Paulson (Carmel, IN) led the Belles with a 30th and 33rd place finish. Siminski finished with a time of 23:30 while Paulson finished with a time of 23:46.5. Siminski set a career best finish while Paulson set her season best 6k time.

Cecilia Conrad (Norton Shores, MI) and freshman
Jackie Clemente (Richmond, IN) followed with times of 24:23.7 and 24:26.3 respectively. Senior
Mary Weber (Naperville, IL) and sophomore
Allie Glendening (Berrien Springs, MI) followed Conrad and Clemente with times of 24:32.4 and 24:33.5. Clemente and Weber both set career best times while Conrad and Glendening set season bests.

Mary Caroline George (Louisville, KY) finished with a time of 24:49.7 while senior
Isabelle Auch (Montague, MI) finished with a time of 25:02.5. Freshmen
Katelyn Huber (Portland, OR) and
Megan McClain (Chicago, IL) followed the two with times of 25:13.3 and 25:34.2. George and McClain finished with career best 6k times.

Sarah Couri (Germantown Hills, IL) finished with a time of 25:41.4. Juniors
Anna Scannell (Cedar Falls, IA) and
Josie DeWine (Yellow Springs, OH) followed Couri with times of 26:27.3 and 26:44.9. Freshman
Greta Duke (Shelbyville, IL) rounded out the competitors for the Belles with a time of 26:59.3. DeWine, Couri, and Duke all finished with a career best time.

In total, the Belles finished with eight career best 6k finishes and three season best finishes on the race.
